Mr. Shimul Kanti Nath is from Chittagong, Bangladesh. He completed his Bachelor and Master degrees in Physics at the University of Chiitagong, Bangladesh in 2011 and 2013 respectively. In May 2013 he joined as a lecturer of Physics at Daffodil International University and after a year he moved to Lyon, France to pursue a Master in Nano-scale Engineering at the University of Lyon. He again moved to Paris in September 2015 and finally obtained his Masters degree in Nano Sciences at the University of Paris-Saclay. He joined ANU as a PhD student in Physics in January, 2017 and currently focuses his research on various aspects of memory devices based on resistive switching and threshold switching phenomena.
