Managing light in advanced nonlinear photonic structures

This project aimes to produce advanced nonlinear photonic stuctures with engineered nonlinear optical response applied to optical device for wave generation and wavefront control. It will introduces new experimental approaches to achieving this goal that exploites a combination of facilities and expertise available in Australia and through international collaboration. The resulting nonlinear photonic structues offer important applications ranging from telecommunication, data storage and quantum technology.
