Hi, I'm a PhD student at the Department of Nuclear Physics. I have a Bachelor of Philsophy (Honours) from the ANU in 2015, and a Master of Science in Physics from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in 2017. My background is in mathematical physics and quantum field theory, and my current research interests are in the application of standard quantum field theory techniques such as effective field theory to models of nuclear interactions (e.g. the quark-meson coupling model) with a view to placing these models on firmer theoretical ground and constraining some of the parameters used in popular nuclear physics models like UNEDF.
