Research interests
My research interests lie in using computational techniques to enhance our understanding of physics.
Currently this involves employing machine learning to control optical systems.
Outreach
I am passionate about science communication. Currently I volunteer at Questacon.
Knowledge becomes far more useful once it is shared.
I have worked at the Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory, in Gingin, communicating the physics of gravitational wave detectors to a wide audience. I have also volunteered at Scitech a science museum in Perth, WA.
