Project details
Structured surfaces allow the engineering of locally enhance fields. These enchanced fields can be use to control the excitation of atoms in novel geometries. This can be used modulate the state of the antimatter-matter bound state of a positron and an electron known as positronium. In this work, we are investigating to what extent structured surfaces can be used to manipulate the formation and quantum state of positronium.
