Rob Elliman is an Emeritus Professor of Physics in the Research School of Physics at the Australian National University (ANU) and Director of the ion-implantation node (iiLab) of the NCRIS Heavy-Ion Accelerator Capability. His fields of research include: nanotechnology; semiconductor materials science; neuromorphic computing and ion-beam modification of materials. He has published over 400 papers in peer-reviewed journal and coference proceeding, with a Google Scholar h-index of 48, and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Physics and the Institute of Physics (UK).
