Nonlinear Physics Center and OSA Student Chapter seminar Perfect anti-reflection - how to make things completely black

Anti-reflection working for all colors of light, has long been an important challenge in optics. Beyond trial and error optimization, however, a systematic way to realize multi-color anti-reflection is still absent. Here, we report the discovery of an analytic solution to this long standing problem and explain how we can make an object perfectly black. â€‹
