Nonlinear Physics Center and OSA Student Chapter seminar Perfect anti-reflection - how to make things completely black

Professor Q-Han Park
Department of Physics, Korea University

Anti-reflection working for all colors of light, has long been an important challenge in optics. Beyond trial and error optimization, however, a systematic way to realize multi-color anti-reflection is still absent. Here, we report the discovery of an analytic solution to this long standing problem and explain how we can make an object perfectly black.

Please join us for drinks and nibbles to follow the Seminar at 5pm in the Oliphant Tea Room
