Set4ANU Mentoring is currently recruiting Mentors for Semester 2 2021.

Set4ANU Mentoring is a semester-long structured mentoring program run by ANU Engagement and Success which matches new ANU students with existing students who volunteer to support their Mentees throughout the semester. Mentors and Mentees are extensively supported through regular resources, events and communication channels. This semester, we have more than 400 Mentees and over 100 Mentors, with both groups of students attesting to the high level of support and enrichment they have received through the program so far.

Mentors provide new students with informal advice, share their own experiences and provide a friendly face throughout their first semester at ANU– whether they are based remotely or in Canberra. Mentors receive extensive, structured support throughout the semester, benefit from bespoke support and development opportunities, and consistently demonstrate a high level of personal benefit from their experiences with Set4ANU Mentoring.

In line with increased postgraduate enrolment numbers, demand is particularly high for postgraduate Mentors– a trend which we reliably expect to continue next semester. All postgraduate (coursework) students are eligible to apply.
