Research Candidate Milestones

Please be advised the milestone eForms have now been updated to include the “Candidate Supervisor Agreement” as a mandatory requirement for inclusion with:

‘First Annual Plan’ milestone submissions for ALL HDR candidates;

• ‘Annual Report & Plan’ milestone submissions for candidates that commenced after 01 April 2018 (PhD) and after 01 September 2019 (MPhil).

The “Candidate Supervisor Agreement” is a template designed to record and outline expectations from both candidate and supervisor throughout the PhD / MPhil program. It is anticipated that the agreement will be reviewed at least annually to ensure expectations and requirements are consistent with the current stage of the HDR life cycle.

In addition, the ‘Candidate Supervisor Matrix’ is available as a tool to navigate, support and prompt appropriate conversations between candidate and supervisor. The agreement and matrix are located online at:
