Indigenous scientists are connecting culture with science to get kids inspired. A CSIRO outreach program profiled on ABC Science last weekend. “Less than one per cent of students enrolled in university courses in the natural and physical sciences, information technology, and engineering are Indigenous.” The Indigenous STEM Education Project aims to increase participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
