COVID-19 Grant Management/Variations

Dear Physics Grant Holders,

As research plans may have to change in response to COVID-19 disruptions, please keep the College Research Office (CRO) updated on any required formal variations to your funding agreements, such as:

• Travel changes/cancellations
• Limited access to fieldwork sites, research facilities, data, etc.

We’ll do our best to keep on top of things.

A suggested approach might be to:

• Notify us immediately if you are aware that an upcoming milestone/deliverable with funding attached will be affected.
• Wait to see the extent of other disruptions to travel plans/access issues before notifying the CRO.
• Keep (dated) notes to aid future variation requests.

Furthermore, for researchers directly affected by the coronavirus pandemic, the ARC is willing to consider applications for extensions to submit grant applications and extensions to post-award reporting obligations (final reports, variations, etc.). Please contact us for assistance with these.
