Electrical Awareness

There has been an increase in incidents involving electrical equipment within the school. As such, we’d like to remind everyone to be aware of the safety requirements when using electrical items. Please ensure you check the test date on the test and tag to verify that it is current, and also inspect leads to ensure that there is no visible damage. Any physical flaws need be reported to the supervisor and checked prior to use by the EU. ANU has developed a handy brochure about the do’s and don’ts of electrical safety which everyone should familiarise themselves with.
