Got a spare winter coat for men at the moment ? Donate a coat today in the Law foyer - look out for the neon green and white bin!
All coats will be cleaned, mended and donated to people experiencing homelessness this cold Canberra winter.

A group of ANU Students, including our Law students, have organised a warm coat collection project. The collection bin will be in the Law Foyer for the next few weeks, if you could leave any donations in there, they will be gratefully received before winter really sets in.

Only accepting men's items. That means men's coats, jackets, jumpers and all the usual items as we have enough women's items to last us for the next month and a bit.

'Take One, Leave One: The Winter Coat Project' is a new project created by ANU students with the sole purpose of providing winter coats to people who are experiencing homelessness ahead of the cold Canberra winter.

We will accept any coat in decent condition - we can mend a few holes, stitch a few buttons and clean every coat. We even accept sweaters and sleeping bags.

We will have a donation bin in the Law foyer to add to our growing collection of coats. We are working with existing organisations around Canberra in order to set up a coat rack, display the lovely donated coats and allow vulnerable people to pick out a coat they fancy straight off the rack.

If you can't back it to the donation bin just send as an email or make a post on our Facebook page - we can come directly to you!
