RSB Director's Seminar

Dear colleagues

We will have the first Director’s Seminar for 2019 delivered by Associate Professor Claudia Vickers.  Claudia has dual roles as the Director of CSIRO’s Synthetic Biology Future Science Platform and a Group Leader at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology at the University of Queensland.

The title of Claudia’s seminar is:

The CSIRO Synthetic Biology Future Science Platform / Synthetic biology flux control tools for metabolic engineering: isoprenoids as a model system

And the seminar will be held on 18 Feb 2019 in the Eucalyptus Seminar Room at 12:30.  As usual, a light lunch will be served at 12noon.

Given the interest in synthetic biology within the ANU, Claudia’s seminar is timely, and I look forward to hearing more about where this field is heading.  Claudia will be hosted by Barry Pogson and his group, and if you would like to meet her, please contact Naomi Hawley (naomi.hawley@anu.edu.au) to arrange a time.
