Good morning teams,

The next ARMS event is on engagement and impact and we have a great panel to talk on this. The panel has been updated with some additional great speakers and we request your support to help us get a sizeable and engaged audience for this.

Can you please disseminate this below information to academics and administrators in your area?

Engagement and Impact – A panel discussion

The recently launched Australian Engagement and Impact Assessment exercise is part of a broader Government agenda under the National Innovation & Science Agenda (NISA). With the exercise fresh in the minds of the higher education sector, this is a good time to look back and reflect on how things went, what might have been done better, learnings from the past and how universities might use this exercise on-going as a way to strengthen pathways to implement their institutional strategies and social and economic implications of the exercise. Additionally, the panel will look at how stories generated from this exercise might be used effectively to bring greater awareness and engagement with the public on the value of the tertiary sector and research in general.

Panellists (in alphabetical order by first name)

Prof Glenn Withers AO; President Australian Council of Learned Academies
