Updated Statement and ARC Response—Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Researchers

The ARC supports the research sector to build a strong, diverse and sustainable workforce to ensure Australia’s ongoing research competitiveness. 

The ARC has released two documents that demonstrate ongoing support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander researchers and research. 

The updated ARC Statement of Support and Action Plan for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Researchers and Research 2018–2019 outlines the mechanisms the ARC has in place to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander researchers and research and activities for 2018–2019 to extend that support.

The Evaluation of ARC support for Indigenous researchers and Indigenous research: ARC Response sets out the ARC’s response to an evaluation of ARC support for Indigenous researchers and Indigenous research conducted in 2017.
