Congratulations to Alex Bray

Congratulations to Alex Bray on selection of his first author Physical Review Letter as an Editor’s suggestion. About one letter in six is chosen for this highlighting when it is judged to be particularly important, interesting, and well written. The PRL Editor congratulated Alex on this outstanding paper.

The manuscript titles “Keldysh-Rutherford model for attoclock” and posted on arXiv:1804.03339, resolved the seemingly paradoxical finite tunnelling time measurements reported over the past 10 years. The model explained these results in terms of classical Rutherford scattering picture augmented by the Keldysh theory of strong field atomic ionization. The PRL referee judged the model as “a great physical insight advancing the previous theoretical assessment.”
