Dear Colleagues

We are committed to providing a diverse and inclusive campus where all people can safely work and study free of harassment or discrimination.

In support of this we have 5 sessions on Ally Training in 2018, with spaces available in the upcoming session on Wednesday 7 March.

This half day workshop, for all academic and professional staff will be facilitated by Pride in Diversity, a specialist employer support program for LGBTI workplace inclusion; dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of LGBTI people by reducing exclusion, invisibility, homophobia and stigma in the workplace.

Ally Training provides participants with an overall understanding of why LGBTIQ inclusion is important and explores challenges often faced by people who identify as LGBTIQ and the impact of harassment and discrimination.

All participants will complete the course with knowledge and skills to create an inclusive culture for LGBTIQ staff and students and how to be an effective Ally within the ANU community.

To attend this workshop please book via HORUS

There is a small charge of $40 to attend.

We have a range of other development opportunities available which can be viewed via our 2018 Training & Development Calendar. This has been developed in support of both the University’s Strategic Plan and performance development processes.  As always, I thank you very much for your support regarding performance development and management.
