 Dear Colleagues,

We have been trying to track down a number of storm water blockages around the Nuclear Physics Building.  Those staff and students resident in the building will have noticed works being undertaken over the last couple of weeks.

A large section of concrete and deep (3m) hole is now required at the western end of the building.  This will close the footpath and one carpark for a period of time from later this week, heading into next week.  At this stage we don’t have exact dates as a number of approvals are required before the digging can proceed.

The area will be fenced off before works commence.  Please do not enter this area.

The emergency egress at the Western end of the building will remain fully operational during this time.

Kind regards

Graeme Cornish
