Nominations close Thursday 15 June 2017!

There’s only one week left to get your nomination in for the 2017 ACT Scientist of the Year Award.The Award seeks to recognise the achievements of an ‘up-and-coming’ scientist who has significant potential to continue to achieve in their chosen field of research.

The recipient receives a $30,000 (ex GST) prize which they can use at their discretion.
Applicants need to be working in basic or applied research and science, have finished their PhD within the last 10 years, and be in the ACT conducting research.
Nominating is easy. Applicants need to respond to three short selection criteria and provide two referee reports. They can also upload a short video explaining their work (which can be filmed on a smart phone).
