As part of the Workers’ Compensation Self-Insurance project, the University is rolling out a new Claims Management System that includes a new workplace safety incident and hazard reporting tool – Figtree Systems. Over the coming months we will be rolling out a series of communication pieces to inform the University community of the process changes. We will be working in partnership with Colleges and Service Divisions to help transition the new IT system with a go live date of 1 July 2017.
We are in the process of introducing User Familiarisation Sessions for the new workplace safety incident and hazard reporting tool and welcome all staff to register and attend the session selections available via HORUS. These User Familiarisation Sessions will provide a hands on opportunity for users to experience the system directly.
Additional sessions will be run in mid to late May for staff members who will be more frequent users of the system. These will include responsible persons in local areas who have a requirement to investigate incidents in their local area. Registrations will once again be available via HORUS.
The key areas which will form the basis for User Familiarisation Sessions include:
system process overviewentering an incident correctlyaccessibility on mobile devicesimproved ease of use of the form; andfollowing up on an incident notification.
When can I attend a session?
Sessions have been scheduled for the following dates and times and we encourage staff members to register to learn more about this new IT system, by enrolling in one of the tabled sessions below.
Where will User Familiarisation Sessions occur?
All sessions will take place at the Chifley Library Building #15 – Flex Lab 2.
How do I register?
To register your attendance log into HORUS. Search on the Training Code provided above and select which session you’d like to attend.
Registrations will close by COB Monday 1 May 2017.
