Understanding Unconscious Bias (EDHR03)

Organisations benefit from inclusive work cultures through increased productivity, by mitigating the risk of unlawful discrimination and being able to draw on a larger pool of talent by attracting and retaining people from diverse backgrounds.

This half day program, facilitated by external consultants, iHR Australia, will help academic and professional staff to understand the importance of identifying unconscious bias as a way of promoting an inclusive work culture. iHR’s facilitator and professional actors will utilise their unique format of Workplace Reality Theatre to re-enact real workplace situations, specifically chosen for ANU that highlight various common workplace behaviours.
