James Titchener (NLPC) on winning the NSW Australian Institute of Physics postgraduate awards competition. James received first prize for the best presentation among physics PhD students across NSW and ACT universities. James was selected to represent ANU as a winner of John Carver Prize at RSPE.

James gave an excellent talk on "How Can Lazy People Measure Quantum States?", clearly explaining a complex concept of quantum tomography and demonstrating his original theoretical and experimental results on its robust and scalable realisation with a photonic chip.
