ANU Industry Engagement for Researchers - Community of Practice

Published in the Research School of Physics Event Horizon
Vol48 Issue12 27–31 March 2023

We are building a community of researchers from across the College of Science to share experiences and advice on how to engage with industry and international governments to create research impact and increase Category 3 funding.

This is a great way to meet colleagues and build your confidence in engaging externally.

Join us!
All are welcome to join. We meet virtually on Microsoft Teams, from 1:30 – 2:30 on the fourth Monday of the month.

Our channel on Microsoft Teams is a great place to ask questions and share opportunities. Please follow the link to request to join the Community of Practice Teams Channel. Once you have been accepted into the Teams Channel, click the ‘Meetings and link’ page to add the meeting series to your calendar.

Meeting Format
Meetings are informal and will follow this general structure:

  1. Introductions
  2. Sharing a case study, presented by a member or invited guest
  3. Discussion, questions and topics for future meetings

The first (virtual) meeting will be held on Monday, 27th March from 1.30pm – 2.30 pm. In addition, to celebrate the launch of the Community of Practice, please come along for a drink in the afternoon at Badger & Co from 4.30pm.
