Why a Science Communication Workshop?
All scientists are under pressure to communicate with the public about their research. This pressure comes from funding bodies, from those concerned with the public awareness of science, from those concerned with recruiting and with policy makers. Improved public and media communication is essential if the public is to understand better who scientists are – and what they do.


Aim of the Workshop 

This workshop has two main objectives:

Please note that workshop attendance is kindly sponsored by the Deputy Dean Science Education. No fee will be incurred unless the PhD candidate does not attend on the day without offering an explanation.
