The Technology Transfer Office is running a number of free seminars and workshops for those interested in innovation and commercialisation:

Research & Innovation Information Session: The Why, Who and How of Research Engagement at ANU

This information session introduces you to the various support services available within the Research & Innovation portfolios and how they may be able to assist you in furthering your research careers through engagement with industry and commercialisation. This session would suit any HDR students, academics or professional staff wishing to find out how the Research & Innovation portfolios may be able to enhance your research careers.

SPARK Your Innovative Journey

This seminar provides an introduction to business engagement and research commercialisation basics, including an overview of intellectual property, the IP policy at ANU and possible translation pathways, e.g. collaborative research, licensing, startups. This event is suited to academics, HDR students and professional staff wishing to learn more about the technology transfer process.

Lean Startup Workshops

The workshops will help individuals apply lean startup methodology to their research projects.The workshops are suited to those who may be interested in taking their research project or idea to market, including those with an existing startup or even those who may have an idea but are unsure of the next steps to take.

·         Customer Validation: Wednesday 15th June, 1pm-4:30pm

·         Business Model Generation: Wednesday 29th June, 1pm-4:30pm

·         Product Development: Wednesday 13 July, 1pm-4:30pm
