First Aid Officers and Fire Wardens are needed

With the increased number of staff and students returning to Campus we have a need to ensure adequate first aid and warden coverage. 

First Aid

Our existing first aid team has been managing well to date with those that are able to return to Campus providing this essential role when required.  We have an urgent need for more first aid officers in Physics South – both in the immediate COVID-19 Level B restrictions (as not all our staff are in a position to return to campus during the current restrictions); and in an ongoing role.  At this stage only staff are able to become members of our first aid team.

• If you have a current first aid qualification and are prepared to help out for the next 6-8 weeks – we would love your assistance. 
• If you wish to become a first aider (all training is provided in first aid and mental health along with a salary loading for Staff)

Floor Wardens

With the recent retirement of a few staff members we need some additional floor wardens.  The areas that require some additional coverage are:

• Carver Building Level 4
• Weigold Building Level 2
• Weigold Building Level 4

If you are a regular occupant of these areas all training and induction is provided.
