We are calling for new members for the Physics Equity and Diversity Committee. Anyone who might be interested in contributing to the school's ongoing work in the area of equity and diversity to contact us.

 

All staff and students, academic and professional, undergraduated or postgraduate, are welcome.

 

The committee meets 4-5 times per year and aims to create a equitable environment for all at Physics ANU.

We would especally welcome new members who could assist with the ANU Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). The University's vision for reconciliation is to be a place that facilitates learning that respects cultures and diversity: a place where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people come together to engage with their chosen discipline.

 

We also especially welcome are not themselves from minority groups.
