The path to a better LIDAR: smaller, cheaper and no-moving parts

Dr Cibby Pulikkaseril
Founder and CTO Baraja Pty Ltd

The autonomous vehicle has become a media darling in recent years, with companies springing up around the world to bring their vision to life. A key component of the autonomous system is LIDAR (analogous to radar, but with light), and at the moment, there’s not a clear direction for an industrial LIDAR solution.

Baraja is a Sydney-based startup that has entered the race with a LIDAR concept that has no-moving-parts, can scale in volume, and is robust to jamming and interference. Attend this talk for an introduction to the market application, a description of the competitive landscape, and a general look at the approach that Baraja is taking.
