The talk will give introduction of Light Detection And Ranging (LiDAR) systems and their use case in providing vision to autonomous vehicles. In particular, the talk will present the recent advance in this technology provided by the Australian-based company Baraja. Baraja has developed a unique and elegant solution, Spectrum-Scan™ to solving the problem of LiDAR beam steering through the use of dispersion optics.
