Request for invoice - form and process update

The 'Request for invoice form’ has been updated with a view:

• to reduce errors because information provided was not clear,
• to reduce the need to re-raise invoices because not all information required by the customer was included,
• as a consequence of the above, reduce the level of credit notes raised, and
• improve the quality of invoices sent to customers

This form has been updated to ensure we collect all necessary information before we attempt to raise an invoice.   There are fields that have been marked mandatory (*), and therefore must be completed before Financial Shared Services (FSS) raises an invoice.    Where these mandatory fields are not completed, the form will send it back to the requestor to complete the missing information

The form has been loaded onto our webpage Request for invoice.   Please circulate this update within your School.   The effective date for implementation is  1 September 2016.
