Robert and Helen Crompton Endowment Fund

Emeritus Professor Robert Crompton, an ANU physicist for over 40 years, and his wife Helen established this Endowment to provide support for outstanding physics students. It allows postgraduate students to attend and present at conferences, both overseas and nationally. Professor Crompton was lucky enough to travel to a conference in the US early in his career in 1968, an experience that has stayed with him over the years. Robert and Helen Crompton hope the endowment will allow students to build contacts, collaborate on projects and learn about the latest advances and techniques. The support also includes travel to laboratories to liaise with like researchers on research projects as ANU ambassadors in their particular field of research.
