Dear Colleagues,
This is a first announcement of an online seminar series I’m coordinating with Yasu Hiraoka and others on applications of computational topology and geometry aimed at the Asia-Pacific time zone. Talks will span both theoretical developments as well as interesting application areas, and we are encouraging speakers to support student learning by covering background material at the start of their talks (this will also help researchers from diverse backgrounds).
The first talk will be on Friday 7th August at 15:00 (Canberra, Australia) and be given by Katharine Turner (MSI, ANU) on new stability results for persistence diagrams. Further details are available on the webpage https://sites.google.com/kyoto-u.ac.jp/apatg/
Upcoming speakers include:
Shu Kanazawa (Kyoto University)
Vijay Natarajan (Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore)
Paul Samuel Ignacio (University of the Philippines Baguio)
If you would like to receive future announcements you must register here.
