Following the first Film Group discussion, various movies/podcasts/articles have been shared. 

On the path to a fuller and more effective understanding of inequality in its various forms the following articles/films/ podcast suggestions are being shared:

• Podcast episode Ibram X. Kendi wants to redefine racism -- I really like how this framing focuses on impact, rather than intent, i.e. "racism as a structural ecosystem that black people face, not a prejudice that white people feel."
• Ibram X. Kendi's book on the same topic -- https://www.amazon.com.au/How-Be-Antiracist-Ibram-Kendi/dp/0525509283 - unfortunately the hardcopy is on back order in Australia, but there are audio and e-book versions available.  
• Ijeoma Oluo's  "So you want to talk about race" - I haven't read this one yet, but it's been recommended to me as a useful resource for interrogating racism in the workplace.
• The Australian Dream (Trailer)- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRJkLgl56jk - The story about Adam Goodes,he spoke out about racism when Australia was not ready to hear the ugly truth, retiring quietly from #AFL heartbroken. Rent from $3.99.
• Rotary Fundraiser - HOMELAND STORY is a remarkable MUST SEE story of cross-cultural cooperation in the development of Donydji, an Indigenous Homeland in Arnhem Land. Join in every Friday in July for just $10.
