The Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics (ACAP) brings together the lead PV research institutions in Australia with the objective of accelerating PV technology development and increasing capability by working to develop the next generation of technologies. The ACAP Infrastructure Fund (AIF) aims to keep Australian research at the forefront of rapidly moving photovoltaic technologies. Round 2 of this scheme is now open.

As the University is currently assessing its financial health in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the opening date for MEC Grants is delayed until an expenditure control framework has been implemented.  In the light of the current focus on developing an expenditure control framework, prior to  preparing your MEC application, please: Consider the need for the equipment. Discuss your intention to apply with your Head of Department/School Director.

Applications for Westpac Research Fellowships commencing in 2021 will be opening soon. Funds available are $110,000 per year for three years, and are available to Australian citizens/permanent residents with a PhD conferral date between 01/09/2014 and 01/09/2017 (please note that exemptions can be requested).

Please note that medical research as defined by the ARC Medical Research Policy will not be considered.
