ANU Library are running an event series on publishing tailored to ECAs, including PhD candidates, in the HASS and STEM disciplines. Come along to these free events and learn more about the process of academic publishing.

 

STEM events

 

Monday 9 September 2019, 10-11.30am

Thursday 12 September 2019, 9am-12pm

Join this event with a keynote presentation by Professor David Tscharke from the ANU College of Health and Medicine and a panel discussion on “Risks and tips for publishing in the new era”.

 

HASS events

 

Monday 5 August 2019, 10-11.30am

Join this presentation by international publishing company SAGE Publishing.

 

Thursday 8 August 2019, 9am-12pm

Join this event with a keynote presentation by Dr Christina Parolin from the Australian Academy of Humanities and a panel discussion on “How to turn your thesis into a book”.

 

Thursday 15 August 2019, 10am-12pm

In this workshop, Academic Skills will cover how to plan and structure an article, and how to effectively communicate an argument.

 

These events are a collaboration between ANU Library, ANU Press, PARSA, NECTAR and ANU Academic Skills.
