Get funding to work on challenging research topics at the occasion of our 350th anniversary!

The BioPacific team want to give you a heads-up about quite a generous offer/exciting opportunity from one of our global clients. As you may know, we have been working with Merck Group (Merck KGaA) for some time now. This year they are celebrating their 350 year anniversary by offering multiple one-off research grants and monetary prizes for challenges. Merck are very keen that as many Australian and New Zealand researchers as possible have the opportunity to apply too; hence our involvement.

Merck is offering several research grants, in four areas, of up to €350,000 per year for 3 years - with the possibility of extension or expansion. The four areas are Healthy Lives/Drug Discovery, Materials & Solutions, Life Reimagined/Synthetic Biology and Digitalisation/Computing.

The prizes for the challenges range from €3,000 to €30,000.

Please note -  applications close mid-August. Both the grants and the challenges are ‘no strings attached’.
