Dear Colleagues
The Vice-Chancellor has confirmed that the University will be closed from close of business Friday 22 December until Monday 1 January 2018, reopening on Tuesday 2 January 2018.
If you are required for operational reasons to work during the closure period of 23 December 2017 to 1 January 2018, you will be provided with time-in-lieu or additional paid leave for the time worked.
Outside of the closure period normal leave provisions apply.
As this is a quiet time of year for the University, staff are encouraged to take leave during the period 18 -22 December 2017 and 2-5 January 2018.
Please check with your supervisor to confirm leave arrangements and apply for leave via HORUS.
