What are staff entitled to?
Staff (except casual staff) who normally work on a day the public holiday falls will be paid their base rate of pay for the ordinary hours they would have worked if they had not been away because of the public holiday. The base rate of pay does not include:
Staff who are directed to work by their supervisor on a public holiday will receive their base rate of pay for all hours worked. Staff will also be granted one of the following:
Shift workers who are directed to work on a public holiday may be eligible for overtime and/or penalty rates according to the ANU Enterprise Agreement 2013-2016.
Cut-off dates and times
All completed payroll requests for pay day 20 April 2017 must be submitted by 4.30pm on Monday 10 April 2017. The timesheet submission and approval cut-off will be as follows:
