Scholarships, events and opportunities through the Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering (AINSE)

The AINSE opportunities annually, include Pathway Scholarships (honours and master’s students), Postgraduate Research Awards (PGRA) for PhD students, Residential Student Scholarships (RSS) for PhD students, Scholarship AINSE ANSTO French Embassies (SAAFE) internship exchanges with France, Early Career Researcher Grants (ECRG), along with travel, conference, and professional skills support.

AINSE hosts three schools annually: the AINSE Winter School (senior undergraduate students); Postgraduate Orientation Week (PhD and Masters); and the Women in STEM and Entrepreneurship (WISE) School (undergraduate school for first year women in STEM students, also includes a mentorship program). These schools play a key role in connecting with students to help create a pipeline of students interested in further enhancing capacity in nuclear science and engineering.
