Research Fest 2024: Enhancing Research Impact

We are currently looking for presenters for the Meet My Methods stream of the program.

We're inviting HDR candidates from all over ANU to submit proposals for a 15-minute presentation that will enlighten, engage, and inspire our Research Fest attendees. We want them to to take a research method that they are passionate about and make it accessible to their research colleagues at ANU.

We are looking for presentations that:

• Give us a clear and concise explanation of the chosen research method. What makes it tick, and why is it important?
• Have real-world applications.
• Are relatable and relevant to a non-disciplinary audience.
• And are presented in an engaging way. 

All Meet My Methods presenters will receive a $100 gift voucher for Harry Hartog and will go in the running for the People's Choice prize.

Your support in spreading the word to supervisors and then on to potential presenters would be greatly appreciated.

Interested researchers should send a brief abstract (no more than 300 words) outlining their presentation that includes:

• Your name, school, and stage of HDR candidature
• The research method you'll be focusing on
• A catchy title for your presentation
• Three key takeaways for the audience
• Any tech. that you’d like to use with your presentation (slides, video, audio, etc.)
• The name of your primary supervisor.
