Defence’s 2023 Strategic Policy Grants Program is Now Open!

Defence welcomes applications from new, emerging, and established defence and national security experts. Applicants need not be Australia-based, or affiliated with an Australia-based institution. All applications will be assessed on their alignment, value-add, and likely influence.

Further information can be found on the Defence Website. Opportunity guidelines and the application form are available online via GrantConnect. Applications should be sent in Word format to sp.grants@defence.gov.au – questions can be sent to the same address. 

Key dates 

• 20 July 2022 – applications open through GrantConnect.
• 31 August 2022 – applications close 11:30pm AEST.
• March/April 2023 – applicants notified of the outcome of the 2023 round.
