AINSE Limited (the Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering) are delighted to announce the opening of applications for the 2022 rounds of two postgraduate scholarships, the Postgraduate Research Awards (PGRA) and the Residential Student Scholarships (RSS).

Applications will be received up to 11:59pm 15th April 2022 (Australian Eastern Standard Time).

PGRAs and RSSs are offered by AINSE for suitably-qualified persons wishing to undertake research in AINSE's fields of interest for a higher degree at an AINSE-member university.

AINSE PGRA and RSS awards are in the form of "supplements" and are offered to scholars who are, or will be, in receipt of a Research Training Program (RTP) or equivalent award (as certified by the Research Office of the university at which the applicant is enrolled), and for as long as that Award is current subject to satisfactory progress.

Applications are now being sought from PhD students undertaking research projects in the areas of Archaeology, Geosciences & Environmental Sciences, Biotechnology & Biomedical Sciences, and Materials Science & Engineering.

Candidates for an AINSE Postgraduate Research supplement must be nominated by the Australian or New Zealand University where PhD enrolment is held (or proposed for tenure commencing before 30th June of the year of application). The University must be a member of AINSE. Responsibility for establishing taxation liability lies with the recipient.
