The Centre acts as a hub for collaboration with four other leading global institutions: The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, The University of California, Berkeley, The University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and the ANU. 

Expressions of Interest are open for project proposals aligned to Grand Challenge 2: Circularity of Energy Storage Materials

In scope: 

• Circularity and the circular economy in the context of energy storage 
• All forms of energy storage but not energy production 
• Research with significant potential for impact that ideally combines two or more of:
  • new or improved technologies (all TRL levels) 
  • business or economic models 
  • systems approaches 
  • environmental and societal considerations 

Cross-institutional collaboration that leverages the broad range of world-leading expertise available across the Centre partner institutions is strongly encouraged. The ANU Centre project manager can support in facilitating connections with partner institutions.
