Free Flu Vaccinations

ON CAMPUS
1. ANU Medical Centre Appointments

Flu vaccination appointments at the on-campus ANU Medical Centre will be available from 31 March 2025.

To receive your vaccination, you must present your University staff ID card to identify yourself as an ANU staff member and provide your Medicare card at the time of your vaccination. 

2. ANU Pharmacy

Flu vaccinations are available at the on campus ANU Pharmacy.

Staff can book an appoitment or can do a walk-in visit as well.  Some waiting time is expected especially during lunch hour.

To receive your vaccination, you must present your University staff ID card to identify yourself as an ANU staff member.  The vaccination will then be provided free of charge.

OFF CAMPUS
3. Terry White Chemists Canberra and Interstate

Off campus appointments may be booked online to attend at a Terry White Chemist in Ainslie, Garran and Higgins, from April until the end of July 2025. Other sites are also available throughout Australia. To access a voucher code for an online booking (available in HORUS from April 2025):

- Log into HORUS
- From the Announcement tile, select ‘Access your Terry White FREE flu vaccination voucher’ and select ‘view details’
- Take note of the unique voucher code provided
- Visit the Terry White Chemist page to select an available Chemist location, appointment time and date
- Enter the voucher code at the payment stage
- Present your University staff ID and Medicare card at the time of your vaccination
