Early and Mid-Career Academic Committee

The Early and Mid-Career Academic (EMCA) Committee at the Research School of Physics is dedicated to supporting and advocating for researchers in the formative stages of their academic careers. We represent postdoctoral fellows, research fellows, and early and mid-career academics, fostering a vibrant community through workshops, networking events, and mentorship opportunities. Our mission is to empower EMCAs to thrive in their research endeavours by providing resources for career progression, facilitating connections across disciplines, and ensuring their voices are heard in school governance. Whether you are navigating grant applications, building collaborations, or seeking guidance on the path to academic independence, the EMCA Committee is here to support your journey at RSPhys.
