25th International Physics Summer School

The 25th International Physics Summer School on “The Invisible Universe” will be hosted by the Research School of Physics at the Australian National University in Canberra over the two weeks January 14-25th, 2019. Inspired by the 2017, 2015 and 2011 Nobel Prizes in physics, the School will span topics in Gravitational Waves, Dark Matter, Dark Energy and Neutrino Physics.

The Summer Schools typically attract around 60-80 outstanding graduate and undergraduate students, as well as early career researchers, from Australia and the local region, who have a strong background in physics and mathematics. The daily schedule consists of lectures and more informal lab visits and social events. The summer weather contributes to a relaxed and collegial atmosphere, with many opportunities for informal interaction with the participants.

More information on the summer school can be found in http://cpss.anu.edu.au, or by contacting us at cpss@anu.edu.au

The registration for the school is open. Registration is free, and a limited number of scholarships are available.

Looking forward to seeing you in January 2019,

The organising committee,

Cedric Simenel, Robert Ward, Lindsey Bignell, Elena Ostrovskaya, Vanessa Robins, Hua Xia
