Multifunctional Metaphotonics and Metasurfaces

Mr Pavel Tonkaev

Metaphotonics has emerged as a revolutionary platform for manipulating light at the nanoscale and enabling many applications in diverse fields. The synergy between metamaterials and photonics has given rise to compact, efficient devices capable of surpassing conventional optical components in terms of performance and versatility. Our work focuses on exploring the nonlinear and photoluminescence properties of the metaphonic structures from different materials.  We study several strategies to enhance high harmonic generation and manipulate photoluminescence from halide perovskite nanostructures. Another part of our research is devoted to enhanced optical harmonic generation from metasurfaces including those with chiral.
