ANU MakerSpace @ Physics

The ANU MakerSpace @ Physics is a community and place, open to any student or staff member of ANU to design, build and make anything to support their education, research or hobbies. From 3D printed Saxophone Mouthpieces & laser-cut circuit boards, to ceramic moulds & cast coins, all is possible and more at the MakerSpace.

It is a place of learning by doing.

It is a place that all but demands frequent interaction between people from all disciplines.

It is a place to share ideas and collaborate.

With a wealth of resources and modern fabrication tool, including 3D printers, hand tools, a laser cutter, electronics benches, and more.

Any ANU member is invited to join. Membership is FREE! And all the training you need is provided in this welcoming environment. You don’t need any experience, just an open mind, and an idea!

Design and make a widget the whole world needs, solve a problem in your experimental apparatus or find a new way to visualise your data.
