Indigenous Professional Staff Grants

Round 2 Applications now open - The grants round will provide up to $50,000 (to be matched by local areas) for initiatives that support the growth of ANU career pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander professional staff. Applications are currently open, with a closing date of Friday 16 August at 5pm.

A recent survey conducted in UK revealed that many physical scientists from sexual and gender minorities experience exclusion or harassment at work, and have considered leaving their jobs because of their workplace climate. Science-specific training that effectively supports LGBT+ staff and covers inclusive language is essential, says the report.
